Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a strategic corporate relations plan to advance the University's research and innovation agenda
  • Build and maintain relationships with senior corporate leaders, identifying opportunities for collaboration and partnership
  • Lead the development of proposals and pitches to secure funding and support from corporate partners
  • Collaborate with University stakeholders, including faculty, staff, and alumni, to promote corporate engagement and partnerships
  • Manage a team of professionals to support corporate relations efforts, including a Senior Director of Corporate Relations and a Program Director
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree or PhD preferred
  • 10+ years of experience in corporate relations, university engagement, or a related field
  • Proven track record of building and maintaining strong relationships with senior corporate leaders
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and project management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
  • Masters degree or PhD in a relevant field
  • Senior leadership experience in university engagement, corporate relations, or a related field
  • Knowledge of university-industry research contracts, technology licenses, gift agreements, and government-industry consortia development
