Professor and Chair of Food Service and Lodging Management Department

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced academic leader to serve as the Professor and Chair of the Department of Food Service and Lodging Management at the University of Central Florida's Rosen College of Hospitality Management.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the Department of Food Service and Lodging Management in academic programs, governance, faculty recruitment, planning, and financial affairs.
- Act as the department's advocate to fulfill the mission of the department, college, and university.
- Represent the department to students, faculty, administration, and the industry.
- Facilitate faculty participation in interdisciplinary studies programs at the graduate and undergraduate levels.
- Lead the faculty in pursuit of grants and contracts, as well as developing a flow of research from the Department.
- Doctoral degree from an accredited institution with an emphasis in Food Service Management, Lodging Management, Beverage Management, or a Hospitality and Tourism Management related field.
- Prior experience in a leadership capacity within higher education or industry.
- Demonstrated record of teaching, research, and service commensurate with a tenured faculty appointment at the rank of professor.
- Demonstrated research record resulting in publications in highly ranked hospitality, tourism, or business journals.
- Record of teaching and service that is current and consistent with UCF standards and aspirations.
- Demonstrated hospitality industry operational management experiences.
