Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the safe and efficient execution of surgical procedures.
- Prepare the surgical environment with sterile drapes, solutions, and necessary instruments.
- Provide requested instruments and supplies to the surgical team during operations.
- Assist in the preparation, transportation, positioning, and draping of patients.
- Maintain organization of instruments and monitor instrument counts throughout procedures.
Qualifications:
- Licensure / Certification:
BLS Provider certification must be obtained within 30 days of hire or transfer.
- Required Credentials:
- Surgical Tech certification from NCCT or NBSTSA must be obtained prior to employment.
Education:
- High School diploma or equivalent with 2 years of relevant experience, or an Associate's/Technical degree, or 4 years of applicable experience.
