Role Summary The Brand Ambassador is a key team member who enhances sales by engaging with customers and sharing in-depth product knowledge to encourage additional purchases. They build a loyal customer base and act as the go-to expert for the vendor/brand/area they represent. The Ambassador actively communicates customer preferences and shopping behaviors to the vendor community. They implement central strategies and maintain consistent communication with vendors. Furthermore, they drive sales through the execution of strategic merchandising initiatives for their designated brand.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver an outstanding customer experience by prioritizing customer needs.
  • Act as a liaison between assigned vendors and relevant store management.
  • Ensure timely placement of new merchandise on the sales floor and maintain proper stock levels.
  • Verify that the sales floor is accurately signed for promotions and markdowns.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to enhance sales, inventory turnover, and gross margin.
  • Build a clientele specific to the brand to support local marketing efforts.
  • Coordinate vendor-sponsored events to boost sales.
  • Plan and lead customer-focused vendor events in collaboration with the vendor community, ensuring sales and participation targets are achieved.
  • Utilize POS systems effectively, including Search and Send, and My Client.
  • Maintain regular attendance and punctuality.
  • Perform additional duties as required.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • A minimum of 1 year of prior retail or sales experience is necessary.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively present information to customers and team members.
  • Basic proficiency in math, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentage calculations.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively, demonstrating excellent time management skills.
  • Exhibit a positive and energetic attitude.
  • Possess creativity and vision.
  • Comfortable using computers, mobile devices, and RF equipment.
  • Proven ability to build relationships and convert customers into loyal clients.
  • Flexible availability to work retail hours, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Physical Requirements
  • This role requires constant movement and standing.
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 30 lbs.
  • May involve occasional reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and climbing.
  • Requires close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
