As a pivotal role within our retail environment, the Brand Ambassador is a distinguished colleague who enhances sales by connecting with customers and imparting vendor product insights to encourage additional purchases. This role is essential in fostering a loyal clientele and acting as the go-to expert for the specific vendor or brand represented. The Ambassador is responsible for relaying customer preferences and shopping behaviors back to the vendor community, executing strategic merchandising initiatives, and maintaining communication with vendors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver an outstanding customer experience by prioritizing customer needs.
  • Act as a bridge between designated vendors and the Customer Experience Manager.
  • Ensure timely placement of new merchandise on the sales floor and manage floor replenishment by size.
  • Maintain proper signage for sales and markdowns throughout the sales floor.
  • Develop and implement best practices aimed at boosting sales, turnover, and gross margin above the company average.
  • Build a brand-specific clientele to support local marketing efforts.
  • Coordinate vendor and non-vendor events to drive sales growth.
  • Plan, organize, and lead customer-facing vendor-sponsored events in collaboration with the vendor community to meet sales and participation objectives.
  • Utilize POS systems effectively, including Search and Send, and My Client.
  • Exhibit regular and dependable attendance and punctuality.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • A minimum of 1 year of previous retail or sales experience is required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively present information to customers and colleagues at all levels.
  • Basic proficiency in math functions including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentage calculations.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team, demonstrating excellent time management skills.
  • Exhibit a positive and energetic attitude.
  • Possess creativity and vision.
  • Comfortable using computers, mobile devices, and RF equipment regularly.
  • Ability to build relationships and convert customers into loyal clients.
  • Flexible with scheduling, available to work retail hours including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Physical Requirements
  • This position requires constant movement and standing.
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods, at least two consecutive hours.
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 30 lbs.
  • May involve reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and climbing ladders.
  • Requires close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
