Key Responsibilities:- Register and schedule patients, collecting necessary medical and demographic information, and verifying insurance details.
- Process payments, co-pays, and reconcile billing information to ensure accurate and compliant billing.
- Coordinate interpreters and QRCs as needed, and prepare patient charts for the next day.
- Communicate with teams and providers to provide a positive experience for patients.
- Manage patient pick-up items, including records and medical imaging CDs, and obtain proper authorization and documentation.
- Reschedule patients when provider schedules change, and ensure the patient lobby is accessible, neat, and orderly.
- Perform various administrative duties and provide excellent customer service to patients, teams, providers, and staff.
As a Clinic Patient Registration Specialist at Summit Orthopedics, you will be part of a dynamic team that is dedicated to providing quality care and a patient-first environment.
