Salary Range: $65,000 - $90,000

Key Responsibilities

The Finance Operations Supervisor will be responsible for managing the financial operations for a diverse range of clients. This role will report directly to the Accounting Director of the designated team.

  • Oversee daily financial operations related to assigned clients' accounting activities.
  • Perform monthly bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
  • Generate and analyze monthly financial reports for assigned clients.
  • Facilitate the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes to meet all required deadlines.
  • Manage the annual audit and 990 filing processes for designated clients.
  • Create new General Ledger accounts and address any inquiries related to them.
  • Review and authorize payments and transactions as necessary.
  • Monitor the shared Finance email inboxes for assigned clients.
  • Conduct ad hoc financial reporting as required.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Engage in special projects as assigned by management.
  • Cross-train in Accounts Payable and Payroll to provide backup support when needed.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Willingness and ability to learn new systems and processes.
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines while managing multiple tasks.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in finance or accounting.
  • Background in accounting, finance, or a related discipline is essential.
  • Experience in nonprofit accounting is preferred.
  • CPA certification is highly desirable.
