At Legal Services Corporation, we are seeking a highly skilled Auditor to join our Office of Inspector General. As an Auditor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity and effectiveness of our operations.

Job Description

The successful candidate will assist in conducting performance, compliance, and financial-related audits and other oversight projects of LSC operations and grantees. You will work closely with our Audit Manager and/or the auditor-in-charge to develop audit plans, gather and analyze data, and prepare audit documentation.

A key responsibility of this role is to conduct research on applicable laws, directives, regulations, and audit reports to gain knowledge of areas being reviewed. You will also obtain and assemble background information for conducting audits, participate in developing audit and project plans, and perform audit steps as set forth by your supervisor.

This position requires strong oral and written communication skills, flexibility, and the ability to work independently. You must have a bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field and possess strong knowledge of accounting, auditing, and oversight principles.
