Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Financial Institution Oversight Auditor to join our team at Disability Solutions. As an Auditor, you will play a critical role in conducting reviews of financial institution oversight programs.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, finance, or a related field, with at least four years of audit experience. A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is required.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Participate in audit teams reviewing financial institution oversight programs by gathering, consolidating, and analyzing data and information.
  • Prepare for, actively participate in, and sometimes lead interviews of agency officials, staff, and others.
  • Develop appropriate findings, conclusions, and recommendations.
  • Assist senior auditors by completing segments of complex reviews and writing sections of the review reports.
  • Participate as a team member in planning and scoping reviews by conducting relevant research and using the information to contribute meaningful, logical ideas for the project design, methodology, and scope.
Position Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in accounting, finance, economics, business, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • At least four years of audit, financial accounting, or related experience.
  • Knowledge of principles, theories, practices, and/or techniques of accounting, auditing, inspecting, management, and/or evaluation to plan and conduct reviews of financial institution oversight programs.
  • Experience conducting financial or performance reviews under GAGAS or CIGIE standards, or related experience.
  • Knowledge and skill to evaluate compliance with applicable laws and regulations, the adequacy of internal controls, and the operational efficiency and effectiveness of systems and activities.
