About the Role

This position is a great opportunity to join the Legal Services Corporation as a Financial Auditor. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting performance, compliance, and financial-related audits of LSC operations and grantees.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Assist in conducting audits and other oversight projects, ensuring adherence to Generally Accepted Government Auditing Standards (GAGAS) and AICPA standards.
  2. Report to and receive guidance from an Audit Manager and/or auditor-in-charge on assigned projects.
  3. Travel to various grantee locations throughout the U.S. and its territories for onsite work.
  4. Gather and analyze data to inform audit findings and recommendations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field with 24 semester hours in accounting.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting, auditing, and oversight principles, concepts, and practices.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and collaborate effectively within a team environment.
Benefits

The selected candidate will receive a competitive salary ranging from $70,806 to $111,366 per year, along with eligibility for medical, dental, and vision plans, a 403(b) thrift plan, paid leave, and other employee benefits.
