About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cattle Payable Clerk to join our team at JBS USA. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for processing payments for cattle, trucking, and commission, as well as interacting with various stakeholders to ensure accurate payment and reporting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process payments for cattle, trucking, and commission in a timely and accurate manner
  • Interact with cattle procurement, barn, and kill floor personnel to ensure proper payment of cattle
  • Respond to vendor inquiries and provide information as needed
  • Conduct research and problem-solving to determine proper recording of cattle transactions
  • Work with the USDA to report cattle purchases, receipts, and payments to ensure accurate MPR reporting
  • Assist with balancing cattle costs on a weekly and monthly basis and report to the financial team
  • Develop and maintain procedure manuals for the cattle payable position
Requirements
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Bi-lingual skills a plus, but not required
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and data entry (10-key)
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
