Position Overview
Our client, a leading multinational in the food and beverage industry, is seeking a Quality Control Coordinator to enhance their operational team.
***This role is a W2, 12-month contract with potential for conversion or extension, offering a competitive rate of $18.50/hr.***
Key Responsibilities
- Delivering timely updates to various departments regarding sample submissions, including R&D, consumer feedback, extended shelf-life samples, and stability assessments (handling samples, data management, etc.).
- Distributing tasks to QC Analysts based on the nature of incoming samples on a daily basis.
- Engaging with relevant personnel to address re-sampling needs and gather any missing documentation or specification details.
Required Qualifications
- 1 to 3 years of experience in chemistry, microbiology, or a related discipline.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Biology or a related scientific field is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and basic mathematical skills, including fundamental counting and statistical analysis.
