About This Role

French & Parrello is currently seeking a full-time Site Engineering Specialist. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 8 years of experience in heavy civil projects, including paving, bridge work, and drainage, ready for immediate assignment on significant projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a Site Engineering Specialist on major projects, conducting on-site inspections for heavy civil works.
  • Assist in evaluating cost estimates and project submissions.
  • Oversee additional inspection personnel in the field.
  • Coordinate with Project Managers.
  • Travel to project sites as necessary.
Routine Duties
  • Perform office-related tasks when not engaged in construction inspections.
  • Ensure daily contractor activities comply with contract specifications.
  • Maintain organized and current project documentation.
What We Seek
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.
  • Professional Engineering (PE) License or valid NICET III/IV Certification.
  • Experience in construction inspection on prior significant projects.
  • A minimum of eight (8) years' experience as a Site Engineering Specialist.
  • Advanced ability to interpret and understand contract documents.
  • Ability to pass a TWIC Background Check.
  • Willingness to perform night work if necessary.
