About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Expert to join our team at Marriott International. As an Incident Response Specialist, you will play a critical role in protecting our organization's assets and ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our data.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct Host Forensics, Network Forensics, and Log Analysis: Utilize your expertise to investigate and analyze security incidents, identifying potential threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Handle Escalations and Triage Threats: Respond quickly and effectively to internal and external security threats, ensuring timely and accurate incident response.
  • Develop and Present Comprehensive Reports: Create detailed reports for technical, executive, and non-security stakeholders, providing actionable insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Provide Technical Expertise and Support: Collaborate with internal teams to advance the maturity and capability of our Incident Response team, sharing your knowledge and expertise to drive business success.
  • Mentor and Train Junior Analysts: Share your skills and experience with junior team members, helping to develop their expertise and advance their careers.
Requirements
  • 5+ Years of Experience in Information Technology/Security: Proven track record of success in cybersecurity, with a strong understanding of security principles, technologies, and best practices.
  • 3+ Years of Experience in Cyber Incident Response: Experience in responding to security incidents, including identification, containment, eradication, recovery, and post-incident activities.
  • Strong Technical Skills: Proficiency in security tools, technologies, and frameworks, including TCP/IP, DNS, SIEM, EDR, and Windows environments.
  • Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Ability to communicate complex technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, with strong interpersonal skills to build effective relationships with colleagues and partners.
