The Director of Physician Services II is a key leadership role at St. David's Healthcare, responsible for overseeing the operations, budget, and general management of a portfolio of practices within a defined geographic area or specialty.
Key Responsibilities- Strategic communications and interactions with hospital division leaders
- Oversight of operations, budget, and general management of practices
- Identification of opportunities for improvement and innovation
- Collaboration with division service line leaders and hospital business development leaders
- Proactive identification of practice/business development opportunities to increase market share
- Direct and manage strategic projects for areas such as patient flow, patient satisfaction, practice volume, billing and collections, service utilization, coding, physician and staff training
- Bachelor's Degree in health or business administration required
- Masters Degree or equivalent combination of education and/or experience preferred
- CMPE completion preferred
- 3+ years of leadership experience in practice management of multiple locations required
- 5+ years of relevant clinical operations experience required
