Join Our Team as a Pediatric Cardiology Medical Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced pediatric cardiologist to serve as Medical Director of the Echocardiography Lab at the Texas Center for Pediatric and Congenital Heart Disease (TCPCHD). As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, leadership, and innovation in a rapidly growing environment.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering high-quality patient care, a strong leadership presence, and a commitment to advancing the field of pediatric cardiology. You will work closely with our Chief of Pediatric Cardiology and the leadership of the TCPCHD to execute on yearly personal and programmatic goals focused on safety, quality, patient experiences, access, and stewardship.

Responsibilities
  • Provide routine patient care, including outpatient clinic, inpatient consultation, supervision of advanced practice providers, and hospital service.
  • Develop and implement programs to improve patient care, quality, and safety.
  • Collaborate with the Chief of Pediatric Cardiology and the leadership of the TCPCHD to achieve programmatic goals.
  • Participate in education and research activities, including clinical trials and quality improvement initiatives.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must be board-certified in Pediatric Cardiology and able to obtain an unrestricted Texas Medical License. Preference will be given to candidates with extensive experience in the field, specifically in echocardiography (TTE, TEE, etc.).
