About the Role

The Sous Chef at Maxime's Club - NY is responsible for leading the culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. This role requires a strong culinary background, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for creating memorable moments for our members and guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Head Chef to develop menus and train the culinary team.
  • Maintain the highest standards of food quality, safety, and cleanliness in the kitchen.
  • Lead by example, setting goals and standards while motivating the team to achieve excellence.
  • Ensure effective communication and teamwork between the front and back of house staff.
  • Manage inventory, ordering, and food costs to maintain profitability.
  • Taste and review products daily to ensure quality and consistency.

Requirements
  • Minimum of 2+ years experience in fine dining and/or Michelin training.
  • NYC Food Protection Certification.
  • Previous management experience required.
  • Able to work nights, weekends, and holidays, and variable schedule, per the needs of the business.
  • A professional and polished approach to leadership in a busy atmosphere.
  • Strong work ethic and customer-focused approach.
