Executive Sous Chef

The Sous Chef at Maxime's Club - NY is responsible for leading the culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. This role requires a strong culinary background, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for creating memorable moments for our members and guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Head Chef to develop menus and train the culinary team.
- Maintain the highest standards of food quality, safety, and cleanliness in the kitchen.
- Lead by example, setting goals and standards while motivating the team to achieve excellence.
- Ensure effective communication and teamwork between the front and back of house staff.
- Manage inventory, ordering, and food costs to maintain profitability.
- Taste and review products daily to ensure quality and consistency.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2+ years experience in fine dining and/or Michelin training.
- NYC Food Protection Certification.
- Previous management experience required.
- Able to work nights, weekends, and holidays, and variable schedule, per the needs of the business.
- A professional and polished approach to leadership in a busy atmosphere.
- Strong work ethic and customer-focused approach.
