Position Summary:

The role involves receiving, storing, and distributing materials, tools, equipment, and products within EBW Electronics, Inc.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in shipping and receiving processes, including unloading trucks, verifying merchandise, and aligning purchase orders with sales orders for distribution to processing teams.
  • Interpret customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to identify items for movement, collection, or distribution.
  • Transport materials and items from receiving or storage areas to shipping or other designated locations.
  • Organize and categorize materials or items on racks, shelves, or bins according to established sequences such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
  • Fulfill requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or stock items, distributing them to shipping or designated storage areas.
  • Maintain a safe and accessible warehouse environment for sales personnel and customer traffic.
  • Assemble customer orders from stock and position orders on pallets or shelves, or relocate them to holding areas or shipping departments.
  • Label materials with identifying information using appropriate methods.
  • Open bales, crates, and other containers as required.
  • Document quantities of materials or items received or distributed using the designated computer program.
  • Assist in physical inventory counts as needed.
  • Weigh and count items for distribution within the facility to ensure compliance with company standards.
  • May perform facility maintenance duties as necessary.
  • Complete requisition forms to procure supplies from other departments.
  • Prepare parcels for mailing and maintain cleanliness in the warehouse.
  • Organize the warehouse and work area to ensure orderliness at all times.
  • Utilize proper safety equipment as required.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • A minimum of three months related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety regulations, operating instructions, and procedural manuals.
  • Proficient in writing routine reports and correspondence.
  • Capable of performing basic mathematical functions.
