Role Summary:

As a Route Driver, you will be integral in facilitating the operations of the materials, warehouse, and production departments. Your primary duties will involve the transportation of raw materials, production apparatus, and shipping resources between our facilities and local storage sites under the supervision of the Materials Management Supervisor.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely deliver materials and equipment across various locations
  • Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections
  • Comply with all safety protocols and regulations
  • Effectively communicate with dispatch and dock staff
  • Maintain precise delivery records
  • Ensure adherence to all legal and regulatory requirements
  • Assist in defining processes and training initiatives
  • Follow established operational guidelines and safety measures
  • Engage in continuous training programs
  • Keep the work area clean and organized
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent qualification
  • Valid CDL-A license is mandatory
  • At least 2 years of experience in commercial truck driving
  • Experience in materials handling or warehouse operations

  • Strong organizational and time management abilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Professional demeanor and positive attitude
  • Basic mathematical proficiency

Physical Demands:

  • Capability to lift, push, and pull weights up to 50 pounds
