The Role
The selected candidate will act as a key point of contact for administrative functions within the Human Resources department. Responsibilities include addressing employee inquiries, managing personnel records, and assisting with various HR initiatives. A high degree of professionalism and discretion in handling sensitive information is essential. The HR Coordinator will be expected to juggle multiple tasks while delivering outstanding service to both employees and HR personnel.
Key Responsibilities
- Administrative Support
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding benefits, payroll, and company policies
- Process personnel change requests and maintain HR systems
- Manage employment verification requests
- Maintain employee files within the HR Information System (HRIS)
- Assist in updating organizational charts and headcount records
- Support the maintenance of HR content on the company intranet
- Track employee recognition programs
- Organize HR departmental materials and supplies
- Coordinate exit interviews and off-boarding processes
- Provide general administrative assistance to the HR team
- Support additional tasks as required to facilitate business operations
Onboarding
- Manage background checks, drug screenings, and new hire documentation
- Oversee the onboarding process from documentation to orientation
- Prepare materials and lead new hire orientation sessions
- Conduct check-in sessions for new hires to review company policies and benefits
- Administer onboarding surveys and conduct quarterly reviews
Talent Acquisition
- Provide support for talent acquisition activities, including job postings and offer letter generation
Compliance and Reporting
- Ensure adherence to all relevant employment laws and regulations
- Prepare HR reports and metrics to support strategic decision-making
Payroll Assistance
- Support payroll processing and reporting
- Assist with final paycheck distribution as necessary
- Participate in payroll and HR audits
HR Team and Project Support
- Manage purchase orders and invoice processing
- Assist with employee engagement initiatives
- Support ongoing HR projects, including process improvements and data management
Basic Requirements
- Bachelor's degree is mandatory
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant HR experience, including data management and support
- Prior experience in recruitment is essential
Knowledge and Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational capabilities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
Compensation and Benefits
The hourly wage for this full-time position is competitive and commensurate with experience. This role includes eligibility for an annual incentive program based on performance metrics.
