Position:
Global IT Systems Administrator & Security Specialist

Overview:

This full-time, on-site role entails overseeing the daily administrative functions of the global organization. Responsibilities include monitoring system performance, addressing technical issues and security alerts, processing security change requests, and ensuring operational continuity across all IT infrastructure services.

Engage in technical research and development to foster continuous innovation within the infrastructure, enhancing overall security, efficiency, and availability of systems and tasks.


Key Responsibilities:


1. Administer, support, and maintain core infrastructure technologies and related services, including but not limited to Fortinet (SD-WAN/Firewall), Cisco Meraki (switches/WAPs), Microsoft on-premises or cloud infrastructure services, VMWare/Hyper-V virtualization, and Datto/Dell Avamar enterprise storage.


2. Lead daily system administration tasks, managing servers, networks, MS Active Directory, SAN, VPN, patches, hot fixes, and updating security measures for all global company regional sites.


3. Oversee all security incident alerts from the Security Team, containing, mitigating, preventing, analyzing, documenting, and communicating security issues.


4. Ensure corporate data complies with European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) standards regarding the geolocation of user-created data within each regional office.


5. Maintain operational stability of all global enterprise-level technologies and services that support business continuity.


6. Monitor system health, resolve issues, identify trends, and report findings to IT Management.


7. Support and administer IT services across various regional sites globally.


8. Collaborate with vendors to ensure proper service levels, support, and terms are met.


9. Lead the implementation and maintenance of Microsoft Intune for mobile devices across iOS, Android, and Windows OS, configuring policies to prevent data loss.


10. Participate in or lead technical integration activities to support company expansion or future acquisitions.


11. Administer and maintain Microsoft Active Directory, including GPOs, multifactor authentication (MFA), Conditional Access, and SCCM for workstation management.


12. Manage projects related to the implementation of new infrastructure or security initiatives.


13. Oversee Identity and Access Management, including configuring and troubleshooting Azure MFA and Azure AD Single Sign-on (SSO).


14. Document and diagram technologies at all supported sites.


15. Provide after-hours support for infrastructure-related emergencies and occasional weekend maintenance as necessary.


16. Review monthly system backup logs and resolve issues promptly related to backup services.


17. Conduct quarterly restore processes to validate backup system functionality as per standard operating procedures.


Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science or a closely related field.
Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in IT operations, enterprise-level infrastructure, or cybersecurity, including:


- At least three (3) years of experience with networking using Cisco Meraki switches and wireless access points.


- At least three (3) years of experience in Microsoft Azure Cloud Services.


- At least two (2) years of experience in server administration and virtualization.


- At least two (2) years of experience in network technologies.


- At least one (1) year of experience in cybersecurity and security incident management.


- At least one (1) year of experience in administering Microsoft Intune.


Strong troubleshooting skills in networking, systems, servers, and storage are essential. Proficiency in MS Office applications is required. Advanced technical knowledge in infrastructure services is preferred.
