About the Role

Cornell University Hospital for Animals is seeking a skilled Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our team. As a key member of our Large Animal LVT team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the education of veterinary students, interns, and residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Exercise independent and self-motivated spirit in providing patient care
  • Participate in a team-based approach to excellent patient care
  • Triage emergencies and initiate stabilization and treatments
  • Manage care of all patients, including those who are critically ill
  • Contribute meaningfully to the education of veterinary students, interns, and residents
  • Perform diagnostic evaluations and medical procedures using state-of-the-art equipment and techniques
Requirements
  • Associate degree from an AVMA-accredited institution
  • Expected to obtain NYS licensure within 3 months
  • Up to 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent combination
  • Interest in ongoing career growth and advanced skill development
