About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Veterinary Technician to join our team at Cornell University Hospital for Animals. As a Veterinary Technician, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting the clinical team in our state-of-the-art facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care, including phlebotomy, intravenous and urinary catheter placement, and medication administration.
  • Monitor patients recovering from anesthesia and follow surgical or diagnostic procedures.
  • Use various monitoring equipment, such as pulse oximetry, ECG, and non-invasive blood pressure monitors.
  • Advise, guide, and support DVM students throughout your shift.
  • Continuously develop basic and advanced clinical skills.
Requirements
  • Associate degree from an AVMA-accredited institution, with the ability to obtain NYS licensure within 3 months.
  • Up to 1 year of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Interest in ongoing career growth and advanced skill development.
