The Role

We're seeking a skilled Construction Project Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you'll be responsible for planning, scheduling, and managing various projects involving the construction and maintenance of OSP facilities.

You'll work closely with engineers, construction supervisors, contractors, and trade workers to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect and monitor construction projects on site to ensure quality and compliance with Lumen standards.
  • Oversee the installation of facilities under the USDA Rural Utilities Service (RUS) and region construction practices.
  • Partner with Engineering to ensure designs are effectively translated into the field environment.
  • Manage projects, administer implementation, and provide field perspective of necessary work functions.
  • Approve contractor invoices and assist in resolving issues.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • 4+ years of industry experience and knowledge in Engineering, ISP, and OSP construction, and contract policies and procedures.
  • Ability to travel up to 30-40% and possess a valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of construction practices and procedures, including underground, buried, and aerial construction of copper and fiber facilities.
What We Offer

Lumen offers a competitive salary range of $74,070 - $98,760, depending on location. We also provide a comprehensive benefits package, including health, life, and voluntary lifestyle benefits, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development.
