Atlantic Health System is looking for a dedicated Radiation Therapist to join our esteemed Radiation-Oncology Unit. This role involves providing exceptional care and treatment to patients undergoing radiation therapy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administers radiation therapy to patients while utilizing custom-made immobilization devices to ensure precise treatment delivery.
- Maintains comprehensive patient and billing documentation, conducts daily quality assurance checks on the linear accelerator, and educates patients about their treatment.
- Completion of an accredited Radiation Therapy Program.
- Preferred 1-3 years of experience as a radiation therapist.
- New graduates will be considered.
- Familiarity with Varian True Beam, Align RT, Aria, and Epic is advantageous.
- Possession of a valid NJ Radiation Therapist License is required.
- ARRT certification is mandatory.
- Proficient in basic computer applications, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Excellent communication skills are essential for effective interaction with patients and healthcare team members.
