Job Summary:
Covenant Health (Tennessee) is seeking a skilled Mammography Technologist to join our team. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for performing mammographic procedures, applying proper ionizing radiation, and obtaining high-quality diagnostic images for interpretation by radiologists.

Responsibilities:
• Receive and document verbal, written, and electronic orders in patient medical records.
• Verify informed consent when indicated and assist licensed independent practitioners with interventional procedures.
• Provide patient education and ensure patient comfort and cooperation during procedures.
• Position and handle patients to obtain desired results, using a high degree of care, tact, courtesy, patience, and safety.
• Solicit and record patient clinical history relevant to the performance and interpretation of mammographic examinations.
• Maintain medical records, respecting confidentiality and established policy.

Requirements:
• Minimum of two years diagnostic imaging experience, including experience and training in mammography, breast anatomy, and physiology.
• ARRT (R) licensure and state licensure in accordance with Tennessee guidelines.
• CPR certification required.
