Job Title: Radiation Therapist - Per Diem

We are seeking a skilled Radiation Therapist to join our team at Hackettstown Medical Center. As a Radiation Therapist, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our Oncology Department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer prescribed doses of radiation in accordance with Radiation Oncologists' prescriptions
  • Fabricate and use custom immobilization for accurate patient treatment
  • Perform daily quality assurance of linear accelerators prior to patient treatment
  • Educate patients and caregivers on radiation treatment and answer questions
  • Monitor patients for radiation side effects and alert nurses as necessary
  • Charge capture patient treatment and review charges for accuracy
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiation Therapy Program
  • 1-3 years of experience working as a Radiation Therapist (or new graduate)
  • Active NJ Radiation Therapist License
  • ARRT certification
  • BLS certification
