Job Title: Radiation Therapist - Per Diem Opportunity at Hackettstown Medical Center

We are seeking a skilled Radiation Therapist to join our team at Hackettstown Medical Center on a per diem basis. As a Radiation Therapist, you will be responsible for administering prescribed doses of radiation to patients, fabricating and using custom immobilization devices, and performing daily quality assurance of linear accelerators.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer prescribed doses of radiation to patients in accordance with Radiation Oncologists' prescriptions
  • Fabricate and use custom immobilization devices for accurate patient treatment
  • Perform daily quality assurance of linear accelerators prior to patient treatment
  • Monitor patients for radiation side effects and alert nurses as necessary
  • Charge capture patient treatment and review charges for accuracy

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiation Therapy Program
  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience working as a Radiation Therapist, or new graduate
  • Active NJ Radiation Therapist License
  • ARRT certification
  • BLS certification
