Cybersecurity Operations Leader

About the Role:This is a senior-level position that requires a strong background in developing and maintaining automation playbooks and scripts, as well as experience operating in classified environments. As a Cybersecurity Operations Leader, you will be responsible for delivering success for our customers by implementing and maintaining automation playbooks and scripts using Splunk SOAR (formerly Phantom) or similar security orchestration, automation, and response (SOAR) platforms.
Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain automation playbooks and scripts using Splunk SOAR.
- Assist in executing all tasks outlined in the scope of work and follow standard operating procedures with no direct oversight.
- Provide assistance for detailed view of notable events, workbook for open investigations, and risk analysis scoring system.
- Integrate Splunk Mission Control, Splunk Security Orchestration, Automation Response (SOAR), and/or other customer-approved security product applications utilizing Enterprise Security.
The ideal candidate will have a robust understanding of identity, SIEM, cybersecurity, and infrastructure concepts, as well as strong Linux and scripting skills. They will also have excellent communication and leadership skills, as they will be working closely with our customers and team members.
Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in a related area or at least 8 years of related work experience.
- Proven experience with Splunk SOAR (formerly Phantom) or similar security orchestration, automation, and response (SOAR) platforms.
- Strong background in developing and maintaining automation playbooks and scripts.
- Security Certification (i.e., Security+, CISSP, etc.) required.
- $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience.
