The Cybersecurity Program Manager will lead the security operations and performance of Shentel's Information Security program, supporting strategy through continuous review, recommendations, and stakeholder adoption. This role will supervise operational teams, providing technical expertise and strategic guidance while supporting hiring, training, development, and staff evaluation.

Key responsibilities include defining the Information Security program, recommending evolution strategies to stay ahead of cyber threats, and providing tactical security advice on new processes and technologies. The supervisor will also oversee security operations, scheduling, duty assignment, and performance evaluation, addressing any issues that may arise.

In addition, this role involves training security analysts to identify threat actors, collaborating with team members to coach and shadow complex opportunities, and helping train and educate the organization on security programs and industry threats. The Cybersecurity Program Manager will work closely with Sales, Engineering, Operations, Legal, IT Compliance, and IT Leadership teams to define, review, and maintain security policies, controls, procedures, and incident response plans.

This position requires a strong understanding of security measures, testing, and compliance regulations such as SOX and PCI. The ideal candidate will have experience in Information Security, Data Analytics, or Security Operations, with 5-7 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Networking Administration, or Cyber Security. CISSP or GISP certification is preferred, along with business savvy, excellent verbal communication skills, and an eye for detail.
