At Serigor Inc., we are seeking a skilled Cybersecurity Tools Engineer to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to work with cutting-edge security tools and contribute to the success of our Operations Technology Division.
The estimated salary for this position in Richmond, VA is around $110,000 - $140,000 per year, based on industry standards and location.
About the JobThis role requires experience in managing and maintaining Splunk, Tenable, and Forescout security tools. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cybersecurity operations and be able to analyze logs and scans to identify potential threats.
The successful candidate will also have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to collaborate effectively with teammates and customers.
Responsibilities- Monitor and maintain security tools, ensuring they are up-to-date and functioning correctly.
- Analyze logs and scans to identify potential security threats.
- Configure and deploy security tools, following best practices.
- Maintain detailed documentation of changes and updates.
- Support team efforts to improve cybersecurity controls and defenses.
- Collaborate with management to communicate security transformation phases.
To be considered for this role, you should have:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in cybersecurity operations.
- Experience with Splunk, Tenable, and Forescout security tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Familiarity with Azure, Cisco Firepower, Windows, and Linux operating systems.
