Job Overview

Position Summary:

Deliver exceptional Energy Maintenance and Commissioning services across retail locations by enhancing the operational efficiencies of existing refrigeration, building, and HVAC systems. This role is pivotal in ensuring optimal store conditions while minimizing energy consumption. Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee Energy Maintenance Equipment Controls.
  • Program and manage Energy Management controllers.
  • Install and configure Energy Management systems.
  • Optimize refrigeration system operations to enhance efficiency while ensuring proper temperature maintenance.
  • Administer the preventative maintenance program.
  • Respond to service calls to support fellow technicians.
  • Work on various equipment including refrigerated displays, compressors, condensers, controllers, electrical panels, EMS wiring, case wiring, lighting, HVAC systems, hot cases, and anti-sweat devices.
  • Manage and control inventory for vehicle stock.
  • Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of work areas.
  • Promote, communicate, and implement company initiatives and process improvements positively.
  • Handle stressful situations with tact and maintain a positive impression on associates and customers.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and contribute positively to team morale.
  • Engage and interact amicably with colleagues, supervisors, and demonstrate consideration for others.
  • Perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in maintenance or relevant educational background.
  • Possession of an EPA refrigerant license.
  • Experience with Energy Management systems.
  • Familiarity with refrigeration systems.
  • Capability to program Energy Management controllers.
  • Proficient in data entry.
  • Ability to travel independently.
  • Competence in managing stressful situations.
  • Effective communication skills in both verbal and written formats across all management levels.
  • Willingness to work weekends and overnight shifts.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, with a willingness to learn new software skills.
  • Exemplary customer service skills.
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational, prioritization, planning, and deadline management skills.
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
  • Professional demeanor, reliability, positive attitude, sound judgment, and ability to garner support from others.
  • High level of electrical, mechanical, and HVAC skills with experience across all store equipment.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Adaptability to changes in schedule, processes, and daily tasks.
