As a key member of our faculty, you will be responsible for providing high-quality industry-standard education to students in a manner that prepares successful program graduates for entry-level employment in the facilities maintenance field.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and deliver effective instructional materials and learning experiences that meet the needs of students and industry partners.
- Mentor and guide students in their academic and professional development, providing individualized support and feedback.
- Evaluate student learning and progress, using a variety of assessment methods to ensure students meet program outcomes.
- Stay current with industry developments and best practices, incorporating relevant technologies and techniques into instructional materials.
- Collaborate with colleagues and industry partners to develop and implement curriculum that meets the needs of the facilities maintenance industry.
- Bachelor's degree in facilities maintenance or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in facilities maintenance, with a strong background in carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and grounds care.
- Experience in teaching or training, with a focus on adult learners and industry-specific training.
- Master's degree in facilities maintenance or a related field.
- Experience in supervisory or leadership roles, with a focus on team management and development.
- Experience working with diverse populations, including individuals with disabilities and learning disabilities.
