Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team at Waste Connections. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance on our equipment, including conveyors, belts, bearings, gearboxes, motors, and chains. Your expertise will ensure the smooth operation of our facilities and contribute to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

* Perform routine maintenance tasks, including lubricating bearings, filling gearboxes with proper fluids, and cleaning machinery
* Troubleshoot and repair equipment as needed
* Collaborate with other maintenance team members to ensure efficient and effective maintenance operations
* Maintain a clean and organized work environment

Requirements:

* 2+ years of experience in mechanical maintenance
* Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and equipment
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Physical stamina to perform manual labor
