The Sales Operations Specialist at Big Belly Solar LLC plays a crucial role in enhancing the efficiency of our Sales team across various business sectors, both internationally and domestically. This position is pivotal in ensuring that we meet the needs of our existing and prospective clients effectively. The individual will serve as a Subject Matter Expert in client relationship management and will oversee the daily requirements of both customers and the sales team throughout the order-to-cash cycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in all phases of the sales cycle, including pre-order, order processing, and post-order documentation.
- Prepare and issue quotations for both hardware and software solutions.
- Disseminate shipping details and coordinate onboarding tasks.
- Generate and analyze sales performance reports.
- Manage the processing of hardware and software orders efficiently.
- Handle claims related to shipping damages.
- Address various sales inquiries and requests.
- Administer CRM systems, providing daily support for user inquiries regarding sales force automation and conducting training sessions.
- Continuously work on enhancing data quality within the CRM.
- Facilitate international shipping arrangements, including necessary customs documentation and manufacturer pickups.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated commitment to customer satisfaction, evidenced by a strong history of respecting and caring for clients.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical audiences.
- Strong analytical and decision-making capabilities.
- A technical mindset with a willingness to learn about various software applications and the operational aspects of Big Belly hardware and software.
- Exceptional organizational skills, capable of managing multiple tasks independently.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Adaptable and flexible, able to shift priorities and processes as necessary.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a customer support capacity.
- A Bachelor's degree is required.
