Responsibilities
  • Verify and process vendor invoices for payment
  • Maintain accurate records of all accounts payable transactions
  • Manage schools credit accounts, usage, and reconciliation
  • Manage student billing and receivables
  • Ensure accurate allocation of tuition assistance / financial aid
  • Assist in the processing of incoming payments (checks, credit card payments, electronic transfers)
  • Generate financial reports and maintain accurate financial records using accounting software (experience with Xero a plus)
  • Assist with year-end closing procedures and audits
  • Provide general operational support to the faculty and staff
  • Assist with event budgeting and invoicing
  • Coordinate with the Operations team on financial matters
  • Assist with the management of insurance and risk management coverages
  • Provide administrative support for schools real estate management activities
  • Assist with the preparation of tax and other regulatory filings
  • Provide additional HR support as needed
  • Assist with general business office operations
  • Provide administrative support as needed to the Director of Finance
  • Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with parents, faculty, and staff
Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in an accounting or financial role
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills with a meticulous attention to detail
  • Proficiency in accounting software platforms and Microsoft Excel
  • Commitment to accuracy and confidentiality
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
