Position Summary:
As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will play a crucial role in establishing and upholding quality assurance processes throughout the organization, with a particular focus on incoming products and production standards.

Your collaboration with Design, Manufacturing, Test Engineering, and Supply Chain teams will be essential in ensuring that Guardian Agriculture consistently delivers products that meet or exceed customer expectations.

This position is highly hands-on and integral to our rapidly growing company, where teamwork is key to achieving our goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee Incoming Quality Control (QC) and perform inspections.
  • Establish and manage a calibrated equipment system.
  • Handle Non-Conforming Material and lead the Material Review Board process.
  • Oversee Deviation and Rework processes.
  • Conduct quality assessments of engineering drawings.
  • Review production documentation for quality compliance.
  • Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering to implement in-process controls and tests.
  • Work with Test Engineering to develop final testing protocols.
  • Assist in document control administration, including Engineering Change Order (ECO) processing.
  • Participate in supplier qualifications and assessments.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing setting.
  • Hands-on experience with metrology and inspection tools and techniques.
  • Familiarity with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
  • Proficient in computer applications, including MS Office and Google Docs.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and prioritization abilities.
  • A collaborative mindset with a focus on hands-on work.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience using portable Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM).
  • Knowledge of robotics, drones, or aviation technologies.
