Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team at Bally's Corporation. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our food and beverage department, ensuring exceptional customer service and maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and manage staff in the F&B FOH department, developing and implementing operational goals and monitoring performance and profit objectives.
  • Create effective and efficient schedules, maintaining labor costs, meeting staffing objectives, and achieving guest satisfaction.
  • Assist in the budget process for the department, providing recommendations and ensuring compliance with departmental budget initiatives.
  • Develop and implement staff development and training programs, as well as rewards and recognition programs to maximize employee engagement.
  • Maintain cost control methods and procedures, monitoring consistent parts and inventory, and ensuring acceptable health department and customer service standards.
  • Oversee scheduling, breaks, floor plans, training, evaluating, counseling, and team members on assigned shift.
  • Exhibit a friendly, helpful, and courteous manner when dealing with customers and fellow team members.
  • Administer the overall activities of the front of house restaurant operations and beverage operations, establishing and administering training programs within the assigned restaurant and lounge.
  • Ensure that available facilities are adequate for performance of duties by assigned personnel, maintaining and instructing assigned personnel on safety policies and procedures.
  • Monitor appearance of food served and communicate deviations from standard.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory compliance within area of responsibility and report potential issues to Executive Management/GM.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality in all departmental and company matters.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree (B.A./B.S.) or equivalent from four-year college or university; or four years related supervisory or managerial experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Previous supervisory experience in a full-service or high-volume restaurant preferred.
  • Ability to interact with guests, staff, and colleagues and resolve problems and conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Flexible to work all shifts, including holidays, nights, weekends, and overtime as business needs dictate.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Outlook programs.
  • Excellent motivational, communication, and customer service skills required.
