About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a seasoned professional to lead the origination and sales efforts for the Hotel, McDonald's and Real Estate businesses within the Franchise Finance Division of Specialized Industries.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as a subject matter expert to guide, influence, develop, retain, and grow complex client relationships through relationship management, understanding client needs and priorities, responding quickly, communicating proactively, managing expectations, and soliciting feedback.
  • Manage and develop teams of professionals in Commercial Banking on the structuring, modification, and renewal of complex cash flow, real estate loans, and industry-specific solutions, including leading financial analysis, presenting to clients, and engaging stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities and strategies for process improvement and risk control development across Commercial Banking Relationship Management.
  • Lead relationship management teams by making strategic decisions to resolve complex issues, interpret and develop policies and procedures for functions with moderate to higher complexity and risk.
  • Collaborate with and influence all levels of professionals, represent the company externally, and strategically lead teams to resolve internal escalations, including significant and complex client issues, while achieving business objectives.
  • Manage allocation of people and financial resources to ensure commitments are met and align with strategic objectives for multiple areas, develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy, and serve as a mentor for less experienced individuals.
  • Strategically lead teams to drive relationship planning activities, maintain sales and pipeline disciplines, and keep information current in relevant systems.
  • Partner with Commercial Lending Product Management to provide vision, leadership, and expertise on client and market needs that enable large-scale companywide strategies that significantly influence the organization's business and financial operations.
  • Strategically lead teams to offer the full suite of solutions to meet clients' needs, develop best practices to engage product organizations and understand clients' businesses, strategic objectives, operational priorities, and financial positions.
  • Lead relationship management teams to support Business Development Representatives in sourcing new Commercial Banking clients, focused on building long-term, profitable relationships through strategic leadership, excellent product knowledge, flawless deal execution, and superior customer service.
Requirements:
  • 8+ years of Commercial Banking Relationship Management experience, or equivalent experience demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
  • 4+ years of management experience.
  • Leadership role in a large-scale, matrixed organization.
  • Cash flow and/or Real Estate lending experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to execute business initiatives.
  • Ability to lead through change.
  • Experience developing junior and senior level talent.
