CMI Management LLC is a leading provider of business, technology, and facilities management solutions.

We are seeking a highly skilled Facilities Operations Manager to oversee the facilities operations at a client site in Montana.

The successful candidate will act as the liaison between the government client and CMI Management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and manage recurring repairs and involvement with planned and funded capital improvement projects for the facility.
  • Competitively bid and prepare vendor contracts to ensure high-quality and cost-effective services to facilities.
  • Manage budgets, budget variances, and basic reporting as required by management.
  • Provide management, supervision, and responsible for the efficient, effective, economical, and satisfactory operation, scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, and repair of equipment and systems located within the property line.
Key Functions
  • Electrical systems and equipment, including emergency generators.
  • Mechanical, plumbing, energy management control systems (EMCS) where applicable, and heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems and equipment.
  • Fire suppression systems, life safety systems, and equipment.
  • Service request desk operations, including record keeping using a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) and other administrative functions.
  • Electric and/or hydraulic systems, such as vehicle barriers, dock levelers, upstroke pit baler, electric sliding glass doors.
  • Roof and roofing systems.
  • Minor structural and architectural systems requiring skilled carpentry, including incidental repairs to doors, walls, picture hanging, mounting soap/towel dispensers, wall tile repair, etc.
  • Elevator and vertical transportation systems, including elevator key systems.
  • Child care center playground equipment (all facilities equipment associated with a child care center is included to the extent similar equipment is included for the main facility).
  • Janitorial services.
  • Grounds maintenance.
  • Pest control services.
  • Energy management systems.
Qualifications
  • Experience managing the facilities and maintenance operations of a facility of at least 300K square feet with similar complexity and scope as this facility.
  • Five (5) years of recent (within the past seven years) responsible experience in the management and supervision of complex commercial and institutional facilities involving facility operations and maintenance, and janitorial services.
  • Demonstrated skills and knowledge in the establishment and management of an organization that will operate and repair complex mechanical, electrical, and plumbing.
  • Experience executing government contracts preferred.
  • Ability to perform Quality Control inspections and provide the client with routine status reports.
  • Ability to travel between sites is a must.
