Job Overview

At SP+, we're driven by our promise to make every moment matter for a world on the go. As a Facility Manager, Airport Operations, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the successful day-to-day operations of our airport parking facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct and manage staff and contract personnel to ensure proper facility operation.
  • Prepare and manage annual expense operating budgets, ensuring the facility operates within budget parameters.
  • Review and approve bi-monthly expense reimbursement reports.
  • Ensure adherence to proper parking, security, cash control, and customer service procedures.
  • Evaluate staff performance, serve disciplinary notices, and handle first-step grievances.
  • Act as primary contact between the union(s) representing various employee classifications.
  • Inspect facilities, grounds, and equipment to ensure safe working conditions and identify necessary repairs or maintenance.
  • Lead weekly phone calls/meetings with clients to report on finances, operations, and ongoing projects/strategies.
  • Coordinate and manage routine maintenance projects and special facility improvement projects.
  • Supervise subcontractors to ensure work is done properly and according to contract.
  • Coordinate facility openings/closings and determine staffing requirements to accommodate work while ensuring desired service levels.
  • Interact with customers to answer questions, investigate complaints/violations, and resolve problems.
  • Monitor office audits of daily cashier reports to ensure accurate sales totals and maintain security vigilance over possible employee theft and inefficiencies.
  • Monitor and review damage claims to assign responsibility and recommend safety improvements to prevent similar occurrences.
Requirements

Required Education: Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred.

Work Experience: A minimum of two years management experience, preferably at a large, dynamic parking installation. Previous airport, customer service, and union experience are highly recommended.

Computer Skills: Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.

Equipment Used: Personal computers, monitoring cameras, telephones, two-way radios, printers, and copiers.

License Requirement: Must possess a valid state-issued driver's license with a current address and acceptable driving record.

Other Requirements: All employees must be able to obtain and maintain an Airport issued (FBI clearance) badge.

Key Skills: Ability to interact constructively with employees, management, clients, and vendors, evaluate situations, set priorities, and respond to issues in a timely manner.
