Position Overview:
As a Clinical Dietitian, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive nutrition care to patients. Under the guidance of the Department Director, you will ensure that the nutritional needs of patients are met and that all related documentation is accurate and complete.

Key Responsibilities:
In this role, you will:

  • Actively engage in the development, implementation, and evaluation of all Clinical Nutrition functions within the Nutrition Services Departments, including Medical Nutrition Therapy for in-patients and out-patients.
  • Assist in the selection, orientation, and training of new employees.
  • Contribute to the creation and compliance of patient menus, nutritional analysis, and relevant policies and procedures.
  • Foster effective multidisciplinary relationships to ensure a cohesive approach to patient care.

  • Evaluating the achievement of learning objectives and providing necessary follow-ups.
  • Maintaining ongoing interactions with staff, physicians, patients, and families to promote exceptional customer service.
  • Building and sustaining relationships with community resources and professional alliances.

Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Food and Nutrition, Clinical Dietetics, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Successful completion of a dietetic internship.
  • Registered with the Commission on Dietetic Registration or eligible within six months of hire.
  • Licensed by the Texas State Board of Examiners of Dietitians or eligible within one year of hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in nutrition.
  • Experience in acute care clinical dietetics.
  • ServSafe Certification.
