Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Faculty member to teach nursing clinical courses at Central Texas College. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction and ensuring student success in the nursing program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach nursing clinical courses to students in the Associate Degree Nursing program
  • Develop and implement curriculum to meet program outcomes and accreditation standards
  • Assess student learning and provide feedback to students
  • Collaborate with faculty team to ensure consistency in instruction and assessment
  • Participate in program evaluation and continuous improvement
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Nursing from a nationally accredited institution
  • Minimum of 3 years of recent full-time wage-earning nursing clinical experience
  • Current license or privilege to practice as a registered nurse in the State of Texas
  • Competence in all basic areas of nursing practice
  • Technological/computer literacy
  • Knowledge of Distance Learning processes and practices
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in teaching nursing courses
  • Knowledge of Texas Board of Nursing Rules and Regulations
  • Eligibility for coverage under CTC's commercial auto and other liability insurance policies
