You will also facilitate and track students on payment plans for past due accounts and assist office administrators with assigned tasks and special projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide customer services such as taking payments, answering phone calls, and other office communications.
- Reconcile accounts on a monthly and yearly basis.
- Make entries to accounts and data entry.
- Process fee waivers.
- Facilitate and track students on payment plans for past due accounts.
- Assist office administrators with assigned tasks and special projects.
- Scan departmental records to the document management system.
- Test system upgrades.
- General office work such as filing, sorting mail, maintaining office calendars, etc.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- Intermediate computer skills.
- Customer service experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Cash handling experience.
- Banner experience.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Ability to learn and comprehend basic accounting principles.
- Ability to handle cash.
- Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
- Effective decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Ability to balance competing priorities and juggle multiple assignments simultaneously.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective professional relationships with a diverse group of individuals, both internal and external.
Working Conditions
- Flexible work arrangements may be available for qualified positions.
Rate of Pay
$30, $36,894.00 depending on experience.
