Job Summary:

The Medical Laboratory Technician 2 Customer Service Associate is responsible for providing timely and accurate assistance to callers with minimal guidance. This role requires knowledge of laboratory procedures and customer service skills to manage clinical and anatomical laboratory telephone calls.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Actively participates in activities and functions necessary for the optimal performance of the Laboratory Contact Center.
  • Demonstrates knowledge and proficiency with the Contact Center ACD phone system.
  • Demonstrates knowledge and proficiency with the Contact Center software tools.

Position Qualifications:

  • Responsibilities: Manages laboratory telephone calls, provides customer service, and uses laboratory knowledge to resolve issues.
  • Certifications: LIC-Medical Laboratory Act - Tennessee, LIC-Medical Technologist - American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP).
  • Work Experience: 3 years of relevant work experience.
  • Education: Associate's degree.
