Job Description

Job Summary

Zifo is seeking a highly skilled Pharmaceutical Business Systems Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our R&D division, you will be responsible for coordinating and supporting strategic projects for Pharmaceutical and Biotech customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Business Process Analysis
    • Review and analyze business processes and systems to identify areas for improvement
  • On-Site Business Analysis Support
    • Provide on-site business analysis support for scientific groups
  • Industry Trend Analysis
    • Evaluate industry trends to identify areas for optimization
  • Recommendations and Strategy Development
    • Develop recommendations and future state strategy for business process improvements
  • Gap Analysis and Process Development
    • Perform gap analysis, define future state process workflows, and data models
  • Document and Report Production
    • Produce and deliver required documents and reports to customers

Requirements

  • Strong Communication Skills
    • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Business Analysis Skills
    • Business analysis skills, including requirements elicitation, use cases creation, technical writing, data analysis, process and data modeling, data mining, and cost/benefit analysis
  • Project Management Skills
    • Project management skills, including resource and effort planning, task planning and scheduling, scope and time management, vendor management, and risk assessment
  • Technical Experience
    • Technical experience with ELN/LIMS, JIRA, basic database knowledge, lab instruments, and data integration
  • SDLC and ITIL Knowledge
    • Understanding of SDLC (Agile preferred), ITIL concepts, database design, and data modeling concepts
  • Scrum Ceremonies and Development Team Guidance
    • Able to facilitate Scrum ceremonies, prioritize requirements, guide development teams, and remove blockers

Qualifications

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a scientific or healthcare field required
  • Strong background in biology and chemistry with lab experience
  • 5 years of experience as a business systems consultant/analyst, preferably in the pharmaceutical life sciences industry
  • Solid understanding of pharmaceutical research and drug discovery & development processes and biologics workflows
