We are currently seeking experienced professionals for multiple openings in the role of Business Systems Analyst within the pharmaceutical sector. These positions require on-site presence and involve engaging with key stakeholders in the research and development division.
Compensation:
$50/hr on a W2 basis.
Role Responsibilities:
- Facilitate and support strategic initiatives for clients in the pharmaceutical and biotech industries.
- Analyze client requirements and identify gaps to recommend optimal solutions.
- Collaborate with business users and management teams alongside internal support personnel.
Key Duties:
- Assess and enhance business processes and systems.
- Deliver on-site business analysis support to scientific teams.
- Investigate industry trends to pinpoint areas for improvement.
- Formulate recommendations and develop future state strategies.
- Conduct gap analyses and define future process workflows and data models.
- Generate and present necessary documentation and reports to clients.
Essential Skills:
- Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficient in business analysis methodologies.
- Experience in requirements gathering and use case development.
- Technical writing and data analysis expertise.
- Knowledge of process data modeling and data mining techniques.
- Project management capabilities including resource planning and scheduling.
- Vendor management and risk assessment skills.
- Familiarity with ELN/LIMS systems.
- Basic database knowledge and understanding of lab instruments.
- Experience with data integration and software development lifecycle (SDLC), preferably Agile.
- Able to facilitate Scrum ceremonies and manage requirement prioritization.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a scientific or healthcare discipline.
- Robust background in biology and chemistry, complemented by laboratory experience.
- A minimum of 5 years in a business systems consultant or analyst role, ideally within the pharmaceutical or life sciences domain.
- Comprehensive understanding of pharmaceutical research and drug development processes.
