About the Role

Zifo is seeking a highly skilled Pharmaceutical Business Systems Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our R&D division, you will be responsible for coordinating and supporting strategic projects for Pharmaceutical and Biotech customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and analyze business processes and systems to identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide on-site business analysis support for scientific groups, including requirements elicitation and use case creation.
  • Evaluate industry trends to identify opportunities for optimization and develop recommendations for future state strategies.
  • Perform gap analysis, define future state process workflows and data models, and produce required documents and reports for customers.

Requirements:

  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Business analysis skills, including requirements elicitation, use case creation, technical writing, data analysis, process and data modeling, and data mining.
  • Project management skills, including resource and effort planning, task planning and scheduling, scope and time management, vendor management, and risk assessment.
  • Technical experience with ELN/LIMS, JIRA, basic database knowledge, lab instruments, and data integration.
  • Understanding of SDLC (Agile preferred), ITIL concepts, database design, and data modeling concepts.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a scientific or healthcare field.
  • Strong background in biology and chemistry with lab experience.
  • 5 years of experience as a business systems consultant/analyst, preferably in the pharmaceutical life sciences industry.
  • Solid understanding of pharmaceutical research and drug discovery & development processes and biologics workflows.
