Banquet Sales Director Position

The Concert Golf Partners organization is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Banquet Sales Director to join our team. As a key member of our sales department, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and increasing market share through strategic planning and execution.
About the RoleAs a Banquet Sales Director, you will oversee all aspects of banquet sales, including developing and executing sales strategies, managing existing client relationships, and identifying new business opportunities. You will work closely with our Executive Chef to design custom menus that exceed client expectations and drive revenue growth. Your primary objective will be to achieve budgeted sales targets while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Solicit new accounts and review previous banquet files to generate business
- Interact with clients and prospective clients to determine needs and direct staff accordingly
- Direct and maintain the sales process
- Respond to all inquiry phone calls/walk-ins
- Conduct site visits/entertain potential clients
- Assist with the development of, editing, and distribution of all banquet-related files that generate business
- Negotiate, prepare, and write proposals and contracts
- Work closely with Brides in the bridal market
- Act as the face of the business to those seeking wedding venues
- Bring imagination into each event
- Two years experience as a Catering Sales Director
- Solid understanding of banquet revenue generation
- Proven track record of sales performance
- Knowledge of social etiquette
- Creative menu development skills
- High energy, outgoing personality
- Organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong technical literacy including Microsoft Word and Excel
