Manage retention and expansion for a portfolio of existing small to medium-sized business clients:
- Formulate account strategies to achieve retention and growth objectives, ensuring they are current and actionable.
- Establish and nurture relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers within the client's organization.
- Facilitate commercial activities, including negotiations for your client portfolio, seeking leadership support when necessary.
- Collaborate with Customer Success and Support teams to swiftly address client concerns and deliver exceptional customer service.
- Record client engagement activities and proactively oversee the renewal pipeline, ensuring comprehensive documentation of account activities.
- Elevate complex challenges (both internal and client-related) to leadership.
- Work alongside Finance and Revenue Operations to guarantee accurate billing and prompt payments.
- Coordinate with Sales and Onboarding teams to ensure effective client onboarding and identify cross-selling opportunities within your existing client base.
- Influence our product development by relaying client feedback to our Commercial leaders and Product teams.
Retention and Expansion:
- Drive retention and sustainable long-term growth across your client portfolio.
- Plan and manage renewal activities and pricing adjustments to meet or exceed growth targets.
- Craft persuasive business proposals and negotiate commercial agreements.
- Collaborate with the Marketing team and Customer Success on targeted outreach campaigns.
- Document client engagement activities and proactively manage your renewal pipeline.
Industry Knowledge and Awareness:
- Stay informed about developments in the media industry and our product advancements to effectively communicate value propositions to clients.
- Share industry insights with the broader commercial team.
Qualifications
- Experience working with small to medium-sized business clients.
- Demonstrated success in managing and expanding a client portfolio.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to cultivate relationships with key stakeholders across SMB organizations.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across teams, including Sales, Customer Success, Finance, and Product, to ensure a seamless client experience.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment and adaptable to shifting priorities.
